도훈명상 | 사람은 천지 이법에 의해 생겨나서 왔다 가는 것

사람은 천지 이법에 의해 생겨나서 왔다 가는 것이다.
생겨나고 싶어서 생겨나고 크고 싶어서 크고
늙고 싶어서 늙는 사람은 단 한 사람도 없다.
다만 ‘생로병사’라는 자연 섭리에 의해
왔다 가는 것이다.

It is in accordance with the principle of heaven and earth
that people come into the world and depart it.
There is not a single person
who is born because they wish to be born,
who grow because the wish to grow
or who age because they wish to age.
Quite simply,
people arrive and pass away in accordance
with nature`s providence of birth, aging, sickness,
and death.

인간이 이치의 세계에 눈을 떠야 하는 이유는 이성적 존재인 인간으로서 가져야 하는 본능이기도 하지만, 그것을 떠나서 인간의 삶이 철저하게 천지 이법과 관련을 맺기 때문이다. 그러기에 삶을 현명하게 산다는 것은 천지 이법대로 삶을 사는 것이다. 지금의 천지는 선천에서 후천으로 넘어가는 이법을 행하고 있다.
