The day of
gaebyeok
will arrive only when heaven and earth will it; the day will arrive only when the time is ripe. No matter how severe the hunger, unripe rice cannot be eaten. Just as a baby emerges from its mother’s womb only after ten months, the gaebyeok
of heaven and earth will occur only at the proper moment.
