도전명상 | 증산상제님의 말씀 - 천하창생이 진멸지경에 이르렀는데

천하창생이 진멸지경에 이르렀는데
대저 사람이 아무것도 모르는 것이 편할지라. 오는 일을 아는 자는 창생의 일을 생각할 때에 비통을 이기지 못하리로다.
이제 천하창생이 진멸(盡滅)의 경계에 박도하였는데 조금도 깨닫지 못하고 이(利)끗에만 몰두하니 어찌 애석치 아니하리오.

Humanity Verges on Complete Destruction
“Those who live in ignorance may be at complete ease, but those who know what the future holds cannot bear the depths of their sorrow as they contemplate the fate of the multitudes. How dismaying that as humanity draws near the verge of annilhilation, people persist in ignorance and obsess over mere profit.”
